Michael Silbert
Meet Michael

Mike is running to bring a fresh face and attitude to Springfield.

Someone who will answer your call and be the neighbor you deserve.

Michael grew up in nearby Warren Township, but Springfield has been part of his life for as long as he can remember. The Silbert family has called Springfield home since 1971, and Michael is proud to continue that connection by building his future here.

As a municipal attorney focused on land use, redevelopment, and local government, Michael brings practical experience and a common sense approach to the issues facing Springfield.

Where Michael Stands

Real priorities for a stronger Springfield. Built from conversations on doorsteps across the township.

Lower Taxes Through Smart Growth

Lower property taxes start with responsible spending and with a stronger commercial tax base so homeowners are not carrying so much of the load. Michael will work to fill storefronts, move stalled redevelopment forward, and attract the right ratables while protecting our neighborhoods and small-town character that make Springfield special.

Leadership That Shows Up, Listens, and Delivers

Residents deserve a Township Committee that listens before it decides and communicates openly about taxes, spending, and major projects. Michael is ready to make the time commitment this job demands and is committed to attending all the meetings, doing the homework, and being present for Springfield residents. Serving on the Township Committee means actually showing up and doing the job. Michael will be there when the cameras are on, but he will also be working every day for Springfield residents when they are not. You are not defined by what you do when people are watching. You are defined by what you do when no one is watching.

Better Infrastructure, Stronger Neighborhoods

Flooding, stormwater management, traffic congestion, and aging infrastructure require practical attention before existing problems become more expensive and cause even greater damage to our neighborhoods. Michael will press for clear priorities, responsible investment, and real follow through to improve our streets, drainage systems, and public spaces in every neighborhood.
